I’m a design leader who builds high-performing teams, scalable systems, and product experiences that move the business forward. Throughout my career, I’ve led and grown designers at every stage, mentoring individuals, elevating craft, and creating environments where people feel supported, challenged, and motivated to do their best work. I operate as a player-coach, staying close to the work while setting clear direction, removing friction, and aligning teams around shared goals.
In my last three roles, I built design organizations from the ground up. That meant establishing processes that integrated design deeply into product and engineering workflows, creating systems that scale, and shaping teams around individual strengths rather than rigid structures. Every organization is different, and I take pride in adapting my leadership approach to meet the needs of the people and the business. The result has consistently been stronger collaboration, clearer decision-making, and noticeably higher morale.
My work spans both leadership and hands-on design. At CarMax, I helped build and lead a design systems team of seven in close partnership with executive leadership, supporting more than 30 product teams. At Pavilion, I established an end-to-end member journey product structure that unified research, lifecycle strategy, and experience design across the organization. This work drove meaningful increases in applications and retention, aligned teams around a common vision, and led to the redesign of the marketing site, application and onboarding flows, and the member hub. Across these efforts, I either led initiatives directly or served as a core stakeholder shaping strategy and execution.
