Updating a legacy system
The greatest challenge during this project was organizing decades worth of additions, modifications, and add ons to a legacy system that wasn't originally built to scale. The current state (as seen below) was simple a list of links that went to various parts of the software. Within the sub categories, the system relied on various tables and tabs to organize content.
The challenge: Create an updated software that allowed users to track their entire fundraising efforts in one, easy to digest, central location.
UX Research:
• Card Sorting (both open and closed)
• Tree testing
• User interviews
• Moderated prototype testing (Two stages, low fidelity and high fidelity)

Results:
We revamped and delivered high fidelity prototypes to development in 4 months, then worked with the dev team to ensure any issues were resolved in the build phase, and ultimately launched an entirely new software in 7 months time.

After deployment, the clients sales team was equipped with updated product demos and reported back that this tool helped increase sales the following year by 3x.

Redesign
The team, comprised of myself, one UX Analyst, and a Product Designer, completed over 100 new screen designs, 50 user testing sessions, and built a mini design system for the development team to work from in 4 months.
